No one is more gutted than me that I didn’t like this one as I had such high hopes. I read The First Law trilogy quite a few years ago and loved it, and have also read some of Abercrombie’s other work since. I’ll be the first to admit I’m a little rusty with the world, however I just did not connect to a single character. There were too many POVs, and it felt disjointed.
On reflection I probably should have DNF’d and sadly won’t be continuing with the series.
