I’m torn about this book.
So I’m a bit mixed for this book. There were parts I loved - like the relationship with Josh, the family dynamic etc but then there were elements that I didn’t like - lack of a safe word, fully throwing Sophie into an age play role without fully explaining things and then punishing her for things when she struggled, learning about her abuse then doing things which were similar to that abuse as a punishment. It just seemed a bit too much dubious consent for the kind of relationship.
