Two Truths and a Lie by Sara Shepard
2.0
Very, very disappointing compared to the last book.
"Never Have I Ever" (that I gave a 3.5, I believe) had me on my toes and I never knew what was around the next corner, but this book was very flat.
It's just not that interesting when "Suspect of the Book/Threat of the Week" is, supposedly, behind bars in a prison. With Emma thinking it's Thayer, there is never any underlining danger with the exception of maybe the last 15 pages.
Where is the suspense, Sara Shepard? I have no doubt she'll step it up in the next book of course, especially as we know who is "Suspect of the Book/Threat of the Week" (I'm still working on a name. It can be used when talking about the Pretty Little Liars books as well.)
