I enjoyed this one but thought it was way too long. Definitely lost pace in the middle but overall there was a lot to love about it. I know Nesta is an unlikeable character but I enjoyed her character development and growth. The friendships between the three women were heart-warming! A lot more spice in this one and at times it was a bit much but I did love Nesta and Cassian. Think my final ranking (for now if Maas is releasing more) of the series is:
1 - A Court of Mist and Fury (cannot be beaten for me - audible gasps)
2 - A Court of Wings and Ruin (epic conclusion)
3 - A Court of Thorns and Roses (second half was great)
4 - A Court of Silver Flames (some tension and stakes but felt slower paced)
5 - A Court of Frost and Starlight (cute but no plot, just vibes)
