The Brief Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao, by Junot Díaz

Did not finish book. Stopped at 4%.
For a Dominican writer writing about Dominicans characters in New York, the author insists on using the "–ER" variation of the N* word, instead of "–A", and I cannot stress enough the importance of the difference. That choice tells me a lot about who this author is writing for, and it's not for me.
