This is probably worth 4 stars at least in terms of quality. I'm taking away .25 stars because of the overly cliche romance. There's nothing wrong with it if it's your thing, it's just not my thing. And this book doesn't seem at all concerned with avoiding tropes; it embraces them for the sheer fun of it, which is why is such a small decrease.

But this book is definitely funny. It was nice to read something playful, especially since I've been dipping my toes into scarier things more recently.
