I'm not usually a fan of sad, emotional reads, I usually read romance, but I gave this one a shot. It's not for me; the beginning was excellent, but it quickly grew repetitious, sending me into a months-long reading slump. Sam's character was amazing, he is so sweet and caring, he was to only reason i continued reading. The ending was okay but I was more relieve  i finished the book than anything else... I would not suggest it.
