This is a very good book, not an easy one to read (aka, not good for mental health lol). I have a feeling the Walking Dead show was heavily inspired by this (I say this because although there are no zombies, the type of rough post-apocalyptic kill-or-be-killed survival scenario is similar).
Especially in the second half, this book provokes the reader to come face-to-face with the grisly-ness of human nature and question how strong of a belief one has in anything transcendental, and why morality matters when nothing else does.
TLDR—
A worthwhile read but, TWs? All of them.
