This was a good read. This book is an opposite attract romance that takes place in Alaska. I enjoyed books that take place in Alaska because it always feels like a vacation when I can imagine myself there with the snow. I enjoyed the overall plot of the story and the pacing was perfect for the book. Even though the plot was great, I do have to say that I wish there were a lot of entertaining scenes. Or not even that but that the author had more word choices instead of mentioning pink in every single page. So the MC wears pink and it's described a lot in the book which got annoying at times. So sometimes I would lose interest because it made the story seem childish at times instead of mature.

This book is written in both Violet and Quinn's pov. I enjoyed both characters in this story but sadly they didn't have much of a character development in the story. I did enjoy their stuck in the cabin scene (I mean who doesn't) and how the whole story is kind of about opposite's attracting. There are side characters in the book but I have to say that they aren't majorly involved in the story. The romance is obviously grumpy and sunshine trope and there is a 1.5/5 level of steaminess.

The ending was well done but some parts of the book could have been better. I wish pink wasn't mentioned so much in the book because let me say that it would really annoy me at times. Some parts of the book could have been so much better but there were a lot of scenes that I did enjoy. I did enjoy the romance as it was cute and involved one of my favorite tropes. I think some readers will enjoy this book if they love Alaskan grump and sunshine novels.
