The Haunting of Lily Frost by Nova Weetman

A solid read. The ghost story elements provide a level of tension that reflects Lily's disquiet at being forced to move to the country, away from all she holds dear (basically, her BFF, Ruby).
Gideon, the country town is portrayed in perfect detail - the boredom of the teenagers, the nosiness of the neighbours, and as in every town everywhere, the snootiness of the Queen Bee, in this case, a girl called Julia.
Lily meets Danny, and their back and forth relationship annoyed me. But some of that was necessary for the ghost elements to work, so it only niggled a bit.
I wished the conclusion didn't feel so rushed. Three and a half stars rounded down.
