This one disappointed me a bit, which is a shame as I really loved the first one. It seemed to tackle the same themes, but with very little variation from the first one, being quite repetitive and boring.

While I felt quite uplifted when reading the first one, this one made me feel lethargic and de-motivated like one of the characters was (I pick up character moods a lot). It wasn't then balanced out with hopeful tones, and still felt a bit depressing at the end.

Maybe the next one will pick up a bit? I'm not feeling particularly inclined to read it after reading this one though. Not much happened at all, it just felt like the same events again and again, but not really adding anything to the plot.

On the other hand, I enjoyed the addition of the new character, and the main characters' support of them, I just wish there was more of that, and less of the same things as the first book. It dealt with mental health in a realistic way, which I liked, but many other books do this while being more engaging as well.

The art style is cute, but a little basic for my tastes unfortunately, but I do love how they are all little ghosts, but each slightly different!

All in all, I probably won't pick up the next one? Who knows?
