Fruits Basket, Vol. 13 by Natsuki Takaya

4.0

*SPOILERS*
A lot happens in this volume!
Yuki needs his self-absorbed mother to go to conferences and Ayame totally has his back. I was not a fan of Ayame when he was first introduced and that is strange since I'm practically in love with everybody in Furubu-land (expet Akito of course--HATE her) but can you say over-the-top and obnoxious,? He is however, very persistent and has grown on both Yuki and me! I find his desire to be the best brother possible (plus his love of designing cosplay outfits) so sweet.
Arisa falls in love with a guy that is in love or at least attached somehow to the the world's most psychopathic crazy chic--so it's not looking good for her.
Yuki bonds with his new best friend while slowly falling in love with the guy's estranged sister.
Momiji's super tear-jerking story progresses.
And best of all--Kyo and Tohru share some alone time and tender moments. Swoon!

Whew, in summary, it was a great volume--read it!
