Sabaska's Tale by J.A. Campbell

adventurous emotional medium-paced

This is a really fun book, and I really enjoyed reading the finished, shiny version. There are some parts of it that I anticipated, but I'm not sure if that's because the hints were obvious or because I'd critiqued earlier drafts of the novel. In either case, I found lots of nice little hints that I don't think were obvious and yet prepared the reader for some of the events to come.

I'm also glad that this is a series now instead of a single book, so that I can read more stories about Sabaska and Anna and whomever else they pull into their future adventures. But, man. I really miss my horse now.
