This book took me far too long to read because I would pick it up and be entirely uninterested. Once I did get into it though it did become worth the read. The twists were all done methodically and were unveiled slowly throughout the book very well. The end did have a good amount of shock value while being believable and I liked how everything wrapped up I just think since I wasn’t super interested at first I wasn’t invested in how it was going to end. The writing style isn’t exactly my favorite but I understand why it is so specific and lyrical. I did enjoy seeing the family dynamics and how they all evolved throughout the story. Overall good read just doesn’t seem to be my type of novel.
