A gorgeous tale about friendship, games, and love. It took me a moment to get into the story and the characters, but once I started to understand the relationships, it pulled me in. You get to see the evolution of relationships and how their games dovetail with their ambitions, whether shared or divergent. Hard to describe how vivid the characters, their lives and the imagery is, but the most powerful part of this book is how alive the emotional lives of fhe characters are.
