The Guest by Emma Cline

That ending really had me scratching my head, but maybe in a good way? Idk what to make of it quite yet but I don't hate it like many other reviewers.
Besides that this book was just amazing. I have never read a book that made me love a character so much without revealing anything about her, really. The 3rd person narration totally worked for me. I think almost every other book with this type of plot, this type of focus on a singular character, is written in the 1st person. So it's rather bold of Cline to chose the less personal, more mysterious 3rd person perspective.
That being said this book is mostly about the vibes. The plot, while incredibly engaging, is very interior. Some may even say its a book where nothing happens... which on one level is true. But on another, more valid level, is totally untrue.
