the book was mid… not the worst I've read but definitely not a standout. the characters were a bit underdeveloped yet I was engaged with the story up to about 80%. I was genuinely planning to write a positive review to counter the book's negative reception but the ending really let me down.

BTW I’m team grim all the way,,, I just couldn’t buy the protagonist ending up with oro. I mean I like him but the chemistry with grim was way stronger. celeste’s betrayal was pretty obvious, so it didn’t bother me.
