I think this just felt a little rushed due to length. I liked Cash and Sage as a couple, and Daisy certainly seemed to fit with them as well, it just didn't seem like we got enough time to really sink into it. Also, the dangling thread of Daisy's friend in this one bugged me since who knows when we'll get an answer as to what was going on.
Still for a novella type story this was good. I am looking forward to the rest of the series.
