I think this book was very interesting until it wasn't. The writing and use of metaphors/analogies were done really well. I do think that if you want a book that keeps you on your toes and is interactive (in the sense that if you like to annotate and highlight while reading), then this book has a lot of foreshadowing that is sometimes really subtle, but just enough that once you get to a certain point in the book you have more than enough suspicions and answers to have a definitive opinion on who the killer is.
