I’ve had my eye on this book for awhile, and I’m only mad I waited so long to read it! Arwen and Kane - the banter and sloooow burn were 🤌🏼! I enjoyed the unique premise of the kingdoms and religion based on different stones. There were several twists in this story I didn’t see coming, and I’m hard to surprise. The narration by Ruby Cherise (and a bonus Kane POV chapter read by Joe Arden) was excellent. Thank goodness I got lucky enough to receive an ARC of the next book, A Promise in Peridot- I can’t wait to let you know how the series continues!
