Not rating this one as high as the first two. The first story, “Stage,” was okay at best. More predictable than any of the other stories in my opinion. But “Combat” has been my least favorite of them all. I don’t care for war stories to begin with, and this one got a little gruesome. I wish there would have been a true wrap-up to the story. Not a big fan of the open-ended “who’s to say what really did or didn’t happen in the end” kind of thing. Hopefully the last volume rings this all back around - at least I’ll have “Blood” to look forward to if nothing else.
