A Study in Charlotte by Brittany Cavallaro
5.0
4.5 - I throughly enjoyed this book. The way it matched the classic Sir Arthur Doyle’s work with Modern day YA. I loved the Holmes/Watson relationship. I loved that Jamie can hold his own. I love that Charlotte gives him all she can.
I love that it’s not particularly gruesome. It’s almost like a fluffy Murder mystery but in a way that is well done and not at all cliche.
What an absolute gem of a first book. I want to start reading the next one now but I fear my eyes won’t say open long enough.
