reading this in the wake of the landslide victory of keir starmer’s labour party, with trepidation about the party’s toothless centrism and ongoing concessions to the right. my library edition was the first edition, without the updated intros; even still, I found the text dated in some aspects but ever-relevant and downright prophetic in more.
