Meredith & Nick
Nick is broken. He had his life torn from him years ago and still hasn’t recovered. I was not a fan of Nick in the first book (Charlie & Jax story, Written in the Beat) so to see him totally redeem himself was fantastic.
Meredith is a childhood friend of Jax and was on tour with him as his choreographer/dancer. She’s outgoing and has the kindest heart. She gives a million chances if she feels someone’s intentions are pure.
They seem like such an unlikely couple but also just what each other need to fix the pieces of themselves that are shattered. They go from Meredith hating Nick, to building a great friendship, to something more. Seeing the more unfold tears at your heartstrings multiple times and it is not without several bumps.
I love this little world Breanna Lynn has created. She has a way with words that make you care for her characters and emphasize with them.
