Meet Me in Cockleberry Bay by Nicola May

4.0

This is the second book that is set in Cockleberry Bay. Personally I would recommend reading the first book prior to this one to get the most enjoyment but the author does cover a lot of what went in the previous book in this one so readers won’t feel too lost.

It was so lovely to be back with the characters again and being a dog lover I especially love Hot the sausage dog. He is such a cutie and if possible, I adored him even more by the time I got to the end of this story. I’m so glad that Rosa has him in her life as well as the incredible good friends that she has made in the area.

It’s always great to be able to follow up with characters from a book so was good to see how things were going for Rosa now she is newly married and everything was very much on the up for her. Sadly things seem to have hit a rocky patch already and Rosa is in for a bumpy ride where she makes some discoveries about herself.

Meet Me in Cockleberry Bay is another delightful read in the series of which I can’t wait to read more! The characters are very much becoming like family to me and I so enjoy reading of the friendships in this small community that is set in a wonderful location that has me wanting to up and leave the city life. A heart-warming and engaging read.
