Omg this book blew my mind!!! The storytelling and world building was so excellently done. I can’t even begin to describe how much I loved it all. Vis is a such a great main character and you grow such a fondness for him throughout the novel. 

I was exceptionally blown away by the use of tone shift in this book. It was from being incredibly serious to funny to sad and heart wrenching. Ugh! Such fantastic writing. 

I can’t wait to read everything else James Islington has ever written.
