I came here from the movie, because that one made me bawl my eyes out. The book didn't make me cry as much, but maybe that's because I took so long to read it (not the book's fault at all). But damn. The emotions are still all there. Both the movie and the book have their own charms, I can't say which is better because I loved both.
This has gotta be my favorite romance book EVER. The same way the film is my favorite romance film. I have never read a book that felt so personal to me. This really resonated with me all throughout. I am in love with the way the characters found their way back to each other. Honestly, I think this book demonstrates the truest essence of love and romance. I feel like I'm just blabbering right now, but bottomline, the book is lovely. The ending was a bit underwhelming compared to the film, but I loved it overall nonetheless. It is my best read after a long while. I'll go and check out the author's other works after this.
