I think I preferred this to the first book. I found Rachel a very relatable narrator with her anxieties and constant ‘what-ifs’ and I thought Charles was an interesting character. It is also quite a bit shorter than the first book.
This is the first book this year I read in a day so that says a lot about how I enjoyed it.
Overall I found it engaging and fast paced.
