Alamo All-Stars: A Texas Tale by Nathan Hale

4.0

Another good entry in Nathan Hale's Hazardous Tales. I didn't enjoy Alamo All-Stars quite as much as some of the other books in the series. I think this is because I didn't have a lot of interest in the events of the Alamo going into it. I only had a vague idea regarding these events previously. This book provided a lot of context leading up the battle and explained the important figures of the time. Like the rest of the books, it is well researched and the presentation makes it fun to read even when it tackles very serious subject matter.
