The book was just bland. The Royal politics was boring. Not every royal romance is Queen Charlotte, right? Also Rhys and Bridget, they have less personality than than brick wall. Rhys is 20 times more possessive and frustrating than Alex. He was like do this, don't do this. And Girl always surrendered to her.
Ava was interesting to read about but here Bridget had one: I am not like other girls. She never acted like a queen but like lovesick kitten.
Also, the writing lack liveliness. Miss Ana told more than showing. And for God's sake, where was the romance? It was fucking, either in thoughts or in action. Give me a reason why Bridget fall for Rhys. Oh,I think I know. It is stockholm syndrome.
The only reason I gave it two stars because of Andreas. He is funny and I demand a book for him.
I have hope for the third book. Jules is only one in the friends group who seems to have a personality. Let's see.
