This is very book that got me into mystery and adventure !!
I might be biased but I absolutely love this book! I read it when I was 12 and I remember how hooked I was into it. The premise and the flow of the story is really great ! Almost all the characters seem to have something going on with them, and it just makes you want to know more as you read further! The writing is very easy to follow, nothing feels forced in the storytelling nor was it all over the place. In fact, the story only gets better !! It will make you wonder what's so special about the manor and what kind of person is Mr. Moore is.
The art was the cherry on top for this book imo, it surely added to the mysterious vibe.
Sad to say that I never got into reading the whole series, I searched but I never found the other translated versions.
