This book was emotional and touched on some heavy themes, yet it remained optimistic and lighthearted. It showed the resilience of the characters. I love the way the characters were developed and described. Elizabeth Zott, our protagonist, is a deeply interesting and intelligent character. Her struggles as a woman in STEM were heartbreaking, yet it was deeply rewarding to see the ways she never gave up.
I also love the dog's perspective in this book. 6:30 is great side character.
Overall, I would definitely recommend this book!
