I was quite enjoying this book until it became glaringly obvious how it was going to end. And I am passionate about it not ending that way. Thus, I will quit reading it and imagine the ending I prefer.
I’m comfy in my beanbag chair imagining Oscar and Laurie happily married, Sarah beginning a new relationship with Luke, and Jack going on a road of self discovery to be less self-centered.

I was entirely on board with Laurie somehow ending up with Jack right up until she met Oscar. Cause he’s amazing and she’s clearly in love with him. Then, we see Jack has been, well, a jackass to Sarah the whole time Laurie was in Thailand. Then continued to be a dick to Laurie and Oscar.I’m comfy in my beanbag chair imagining Oscar and Laurie happily married, Sarah beginning a new relationship with Luke, and Jack going on a road of self discovery to be less self-centered.
