Sharp and blunt, this is an excellent examination into the exploitation of child stars. Jeanette is clever, funny, and genuine in her memoir, and listening to her recount her life story is both horrifying and intriguing.
Graphic: Alcoholism, Panic attacks/disorders, Body shaming, Alcohol, Death of parent, Cancer, Eating disorder, Grief, Child abuse, Chronic illness, Fatphobia, Mental illness, Domestic abuse, Suicidal thoughts, and Toxic relationship
