Ah Max. I like the whole disguise and covert thing he has going on and his odd but funny way of going about finding a wife. Daphne's character is enjoyable. I like how she's torn between her fascination and attraction for Max and her fear of what marriage might mean for her.

Since first picking up this book, I've read it two more times and still found it enjoyable. I especially love how Daphne handles find out about Max's secret life as an agent. I like how Foley has kept Daphne's reaction real. I would have gotten angry and felt betrayed as well.
