3.5 Stars. It's been a while since I've read something this dark...
I'm a sucker for a haunted house type story and this did not disappoint!
Content warnings for sucicide, animal abuse/murder, general unpleasantness and cheek.
I really hope someone takes Dane's offer on this and makes a film adaptation someday. It would be really neat to see it brought to life.
It's a good read, but there are a lot cliches common to the archetype of a haunted house and demonic possession, for example, the connection between listening to death metal and worshiping satan. I myself listen to symphonic death metal and know many nice people who do too, but I have to admit some of the lyrics are very appropriate for devil worship
