All the Battles We Surrender by Garry Michael

4.0

I read this book in one sitting. It was really good, I liked the story telling and I was just so invested in the drama. I wanted to know how Hawkins would react to the news and also how the author would like “let him know” if you know what I mean. I was a bit put off by all of these flashbacks. Like some of that stuff could have just been a thought or smth.
I cried a lot, out of fustration at first cause they didn’t talk. And then at the end when I thought he died like WTF how could you do that to me. Just breaking off the hospital scene and then a jump to the future and not mentioning Sawyer. I was balling my eyes out.
Over all it is a good book and would definitely recommend it.
