Mauna Loa in Hawaii is predicted to have its biggest eruption ever in 5 days.  The head of the volcano institute that monitors the volcano is suddenly informed that the is a major problem with some canisters stored by the Army near the volcano.  Of course you have a greedy and press hunger rival and maybe some questionable scientific solutions.  It was a fast read but some plot holes stalled out and there was a botanist character introduced but nothing really happened with that character so why leave her in.  Recommend as a vacation read.
