Enigma by Peter Milligan

3.0

3.5 stars. This was different, a bit weird, and I'm not mad that I read it. I really hated the art - half the time I couldn't tell what the heck was going on, particularly in the first third of the book. The last quarter was the best part. If the rest had had that level of momentum I'd give it 4 stars. As much as Michael was a doof it wasn't annoying, it made sense within the context of the story and a lot of writers get that wrong. I really liked the twist at the end with the narrator. Just as it was ending I felt like it had finally started to chug along nicely, but I still liked the ending.
