I loved the first 3 books in the series but 4 and 5 just seem to have strayed and are so different. It took me months to read book 5. I usually would get through the other books in a day or two.

I feel like nothing really happened in this book except that everybody got weaker. Ryder was weaker. I mean how does he get captured so easily. Just seemed really weird to me. I like this series but it needs to make some serious progress in the next book.
