The Plan by Karla Sorensen

4.0

Give me some Karla Sorensen books anytime! Sports but not really sports like story with a bit of a age difference then put in a splash of Broody/ opposites attract and it was a keeper for me. Lydia finds her self hiding away from the public after some life hurdles including a accident. She has been this social media persona and now she is living differently. Her parents try to get her a bodyguard in the form of a ex football player, broody but snuggly teddy bear inside. These two are different but as they spend time around each other you see the walls come down. They both had emotional issues and there were some parts that were slow but it picked up towards the end. It’s not a cookie cutter story for these two but it’s raw and real. Great read for me and would love to see more of the other characters that we saw in the story.
