I really enjoyed [b:The Blacktongue Thief|55077697|The Blacktongue Thief (Blacktongue, #1)|Christopher Buehlman|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1604069900l/55077697._SY75_.jpg|73882351] and wanted to read something else by Christopher Buehlman. All his other books are horror, alas, a genre I don't like, but I decided to give it a shot. This is my kind of horror-- essentially just a really good character study of vampires (also the plot is great, but I care much less about that). Worth reading for sure.
