My thoughts ๐Ÿ’ญ: Here we have another book I picked up partly because of #RainbowCrateBookBox. I don't always enjoy retellings of Greek myths (I'm not sure why, since I love Greek mythology), but I really enjoyed this one. I liked the characters and narration throughout. This book also wins in a category it invented: most romantic, sweet, passionate, lyrical, and surprisingly non-explicit sex scene.ย

๐Ÿ“š The gist ๐Ÿ“š: When Patroclus is exiled by his father, Achilles claims him as his companion. Their lives become deeply intertwined as they battle destiny (and Trojans)

๐Ÿ“’Representation๐Ÿ“’: mlm mc, Greek mythology and characters

๐Ÿ’• For readers looking for ๐Ÿ’•: adaptations of Greek mythology, compelling character dynamics, outsmarting gods, a developing relationship that feels earned, war
