Very well written book which does a great job of highlighting a lot of the things that are wrong with (the lack of) maternity leave and benefit in the US and the way society expects women to literally be and do everything not to feel like a failure and the absolutely devastating consequences of this

Having said that, I can’t say I enjoyed reading this book as it is just so so sad

I would not recommend this book to anyone who is pregnant or has young children, it details the tragic death of two little babies as well as a miscarriage and is quite difficult to read because of that
