Preacher Book One by Garth Ennis

4.0

One of the better graphic novels I have read recently. I am not especially into the graphic novel format, but this is one that works pretty well. I have seen a few episodes of the TV show based on this so had an idea of what it was about. It is an interesting concept and works surprisingly well. The Preacher in the title is a likable and sympathetic character, despite the hyper-violence going on around him.

I need to watch more of the show, and read a bit more of this. As a bit of filler between more meatier novels this is good entertainment, and this graphic novel seems to work better in this format than some of the others I have read recently
