It took me a little longer to read this because I kept putting it off but once I got into it I was ok. I struggled getting through the first 50 or so pages but once past that it got better. I guess I just didn't enjoy this duology as much as i have with other books which is why I'm giving it a lower rating. There was nothing particularly wrong with it I just felt as though it was missing something and it's not the most memorable read. However there was still good qualities to it and I would recommend the duology to specific people. Also I thought it was more pirate-y which its not really got anything to do with that it's just sailing, which obviously is not the authors problem, it's just the person recommending it made it seem as though it was based around pirates which I was looking forward to.
