Real Men Knit by Kwana Jackson

3.0

Three stars only because I’m stingy, not because anything is “wrong” with the book. As a knitter, I obviously had a vested interest in the title. I loved the unraveling of how the family store went to one stubborn brother to a true family affair, uniting feuding-always-fighting-brothers - and even how one of the brother’s potential romantic life united the brothers. The fight to save the store and launch it was masterfully told and beautiful.

The romance….ehhhhhh. It was there. It was a simmer. Never really burned. Seemed very much like an affair of convenience - both for the characters and the plot - than any of level of true romance or affection.

Overall, still a great read! Just don’t expect to fall in love with a couple or even character with this one.
