Before the Coffee Gets Cold by Toshikazu Kawaguchi

I alone am to blame because I let myself read the review of someone else before starting to read the book.
This had me on edge and made me anticipate things in the novel, and NOT in a good way!
I will avoid this type of mistake in the future for books I read for book club in particular.
As it were I kept ruining my own reading experience by going over the more fantastical plot holes and thinking about how I would have approached the concept of time travel better...
I enjoyed the cultural differences and small details from life in Japan.
Female characters did not ring true or real enough for me and I tend to be a lot more critical when it comes to books I read for my book club discussions .
Moral topics were interesting and I look forward to book club meeting to share my thoughts with others.
