I loved this classic retelling of The Fall of The House of Usher by Edgar Allen Poe. I ended up downloading the audiobook midway through reading the book and I hate to say that I didn't like the voice actor's performance at all. The voice actor reads the book in the same tone that sounded robotic and lacked inflection and well... acting! Skip the audiobook. However, this retelling is creative, gorey, creepy, and has amazingly descriptive detail. I loved the story and can't wait to read the second book of this Sworn Soldier series. 🍄
