Cost of Repairs by A.M. Arthur

Wounded MCs who find healing in each other
I really enjoyed this book though it started slowly so it took some time to get into it. Samuel and Rey are both deeply wounded and guarded but the author conveys this, and their journey to love in a way that is not maudlin or depressing.
I’m not a big fan of the slow reveal with the constant references to a bigger story. It took too long to get there which diminished my enjoyment of the book a little.
